Discover your exclusive walking trails through 80 acres of enchanted botanic garden-like desert wilderness with some of the tallest ocotillo plants on Earth and several romantic surprises along the route. Adventure awaits!

After a hike, consider taking an outdoor shower while admiring the view before air drying and sunbathing on the star bed waiting for your next sumptuous snack, meal, or beverage.

Enjoy sit-down breathtaking views from your farmhouse veranda on the desert floor (1,600' elevation) straight up to the top of the Laguna Mountains (6,380') with one VERY NOTABLE, EXCITING AND EXTREMELY UNIQUE FACT, you will not see a single man-made structure in your entire 180-degree viewshed (why this farm was chosen, and frankly, you will likely not see any other people). No homes, no power lines, no people -just an enchanting desert wilderness all to yourselves. From your veranda, you may also witness the visual phenomenon at the end of the day when these mountains literally turn blue just before the sun falls over the hills. Here you can lounge, dine, nap, and even do yoga (mats provided) if desired, backed by this spellbinding mountain scenery.

Relax on an outdoor, custom-made, up-cycled couch replete with thick, luxurious memory foam cushions (on the back and bottom) and soft covers that are changed for every guest. This couch is large and sturdy enough to give or receive a massage or take a nap, and it enjoys stunning views of the Laguna Mountains. After the sun goes down, ignite the fire pit next to it and bring out the apps and beverages.

Savor alfresco dining around the romantic fire table and extremely comfortable flex back swivel dining chairs that you will never want to get up from.

After dinner, soak under the stars, embraced by the warmth of your own restorative mineral water bath in your custom cast iron claw foot bathtub. This may be one of the finest baths of your life.

Experience stargazing like never before in our outdoor custom king-size star bed, replete with a luxurious 12" memory foam mattress (with waterproof cover). We experimented with every sort of hammock and realized that they really aren't that comfortable for more than a few minutes, so we had this custom outdoor bed built. We provide a freshly washed and sanitized (very high heat) comfy over-sized fleece blanket to cover the star bed.

Inside your living room, chill out, feel the softness and luxurious quality of your authentic cowhide sofa and Ralph Lauren Writer's chair, and peruse our dynamic coffee table book collection (a little something for everyone) or our library of Anza-Borrego and Sonoran Desert books.

Tap into your inner-chef and whip up something delicious in your gourmet kitchen with the air fryer-equipped flagship Samsung gas range equipped with Italian Defendi high-precision burners for the most delicate of cooking tasks, or take your barbeque skills out to the stainless steel gas grill, or show off your inner-cowboy by cooking over mesquite and/or avocado wood on the Pilot grill grate fire pit (mesquite charcoal and avocado firewood provided).

Inside, spoil your privates with the Toto Washlet system, equipped with a heated toilet seat and every bell and whistle that your posterior could ever ask for.

Retire to your master bedroom equipped with your own fireplace and Art Frame HDTV for your visual pleasure but then experience the ultimate bed that is equipped with the highest rated luxury mattress on the market, almost guaranteeing a perfect night's sleep but wait, that's not all ;) This bed is also equipped with a zero-gravity electric bed frame that allows you to get into any position you choose, which may be perfect for sitting up to watch a romantic movie or go zero-gravity and hit the massage button on the remote for the ultimate in relaxation.

UPON ARRIVAL

Property Gate.
We will text you the gate code.

PrivateDriveway.
As you drive straight past the gate and the neighbor's property off to the right, you will continue straight for 1000' paralleling the chain link fence until you swing wide left to then square up on the narrow farmhouse gate to the right. Drive in, then veer left and park straight under the carport. Walk around the corner to the French door and type in your entry code. Then enter the home, turn the lights on if needed, wake up the Art Frame HDTV to a piece of art they would LOVE (ask them ahead of time what their favorite piece of art is, and we will likely have it; if not, bring a thumb drive with the image(s) on it), and open the living room blinds.

Go grab your partner and welcome them home. If needed, and as our buddies in AC/DC like to say, "have a drink on me," there is a mini-bar off to the right and an ultra-purified ice bar in the pull out freezer beneath the fridge. Grab a welcome drink and perhaps sit right down on the upcycled veranda couch and take in the mesmerizing views before unpacking the car and getting settled in.

Getting Settled.
If it's too early for a 'drink on me,' how about a quick latte or cappuccino? There is a gallon of fresh whole milk in the fridge since, as we like to say, "a latte thrice a day keeps all negative thoughts away." We have a Secura milk frother and the finest Nespresso machine on the market; this, coupled with a Caribbean sugar cube or two, may just be the highlight of the hour. Notice the huge latte and cappuccino cups awaiting your barista creations. The white shaker on top is full of Ghirardelli Majestic Premium Cocoa Powder. There are cocoa powders, and then there is the Majestic, simply the finest cocoa powder available on the market and a wonderful compliment to the top of any latte or cappuccino crema.

Art Frame HDTV.
We covered this quickly before: why not turn on and find your partner's favorite piece of art on the living room and bedroom HDTVs and show your partner that they are the focus of this weekend and that they are cherished and admired.

Music.
We have a sizable bluetooth speaker that not only provides exceptional sound quality (Acoustic Research) but has a myriad of illuminated flame styles to further enhance any nocturnal vibe, whether hanging on the veranda, the fire pit, the clawfoot tubs, or the star bed. Take it wherever you like; the charge should last all weekend.

Lighting.
Lighting is very important to the overall vibe. We have dimmers on most light switches. You'll find gold-dipped and black-dipped light bulbs throughout. Outside, you'll have remote controls for two sets of convincing electronic candles, one over the veranda couch and one over the dining table. There is also a remote control for the grill/carport light in a remote cubby just inside the home. Lastly, we have solar tiki flame torches and garden path lights from the firepit to the star bed.

Scent.
We have a drawer full of Voluspa candles; pick your favorite and enjoy its scent for the weekend.

Meals.
Are you going to execute the meal plan that you created specifically for this weekend or simply throw a fresh meal in the microwave and then plate it on our elegant bone china dinnerware? If the weather is accommodating, go prep the outdoor aluminum fire table for your partner. Placemats, napkins, flatware, wine, and, of course, remove the central top off the table and light the flame in the middle (see directions in the physical guidebook if needed). For extra ambiance, turn off or turn down the lights inside and use the 'dining area' remote control to turn on the most authentic electronic candles that you have ever seen, which will flicker overhead.

COOKING EQUIPMENT - "When only the finest will do!"

Kitchen Oven/Range.
This memorable weekend should allow you to prepare or cook whatever you please. We have outfitted the kitchen with Samsung's flagship gas range and convection oven equipped with Italian Defendi burners for the ultimate in precision and also the most powerful burner in its class, so you can rapidly boil water and sear meat with the 22K BTU Dual Ring Brass Power Burner. This oven is equipped with an air fry element, and we have an air fry rack ready to go.

Balmuda Toaster Oven.
If you have to ask, this will be the best toast or reheated pizza you've ever tasted (don't forget to add a teaspoon of water to unleash this unique steam technology).

Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker.
Simply one of the finest Japanese rice cookers available in the U.S., perfect rice each and every time or steel cut oatmeal (don't forget to rinse your rice if desired in the Japanese clear plastic rice strainer).

Sandwich Panini Press.
It's too convenient not to have for a quick, hot, and melty bite.

Other Kitchen Appliances.
We have plenty of other plug-ins for you: waffle iron, blender, veggie chopper, Crock Pot, etc.

Cooking Outside.
Enjoy the gas grill with stainless steel grates, a side burner, and all the gear.

Cook with fire on the built in Pilot cooking grate over the fire pit. Cook right over avocado wood or use the charcoal tower to start a batch of lump mesquite charcoal for the ultimate in savory smoke flavoring.

Four Red Pillows and a Fleece Blanket.
When you arrive, you'll find these items stacked up on the ottoman. Please take the pillows out to the veranda couch, and the fleece blanket is intended for the star bed. Thank you.

Desert Hazards.
We must warn each guest that the desert has some hazards....lots of pokey things called cacti/desert agave/ocotillo/cholla, etc. Please be ultra-vigilant when avoiding contact with these pokey plants. If you insist on bringing a furry friend (this is why we highly recommend that you do not bring a furry friend), we ask that you monitor them like a hawk so that they don't go astray and get thorns in their paws. When and if you, your partner, or a furry friend come into contact with something pokey, use the provided Goody comb to remove cholla cactus balls and the tweezer kit (both located in the provided brown daypack) to remove any spines or thorns. The trails should be mostly free of thorns, but the winds always change the status of anything being 'thorn-free' out here.

Desert Winds.
Occasional nighttime desert winds will blow some sand up onto the veranda. When and if this occurs AFTER we've already cleaned the home, you may arrive and encounter this slight sand accumulation. If you want that sand completely gone, inside the spare bedroom closet we have a high-powered battery-operated leaf blower (and noise-reducing earmuffs); please use this to blow down the surfaces.
